Earth Hour in Radviliškis

The action:

As a part of the learning process which was dedicated to the topic Environment, the participants from the school club “Tolerance” of Radviliškis Gražinos basic school decided to join the global Earth Hour campaign and foster their community to participate in it. They prepared and distributed informational materials in their local community inviting people to participate in the Earth Hour.

At the time of the campaign, the youngsters were observing if their information campaign worked. By observing the houses, where the informational materials were distributed, they have estimated that from 40 to 100 percent of their residents joined the campaign and turned off the lights for one hour.
